one should take Viagra nearly one hour before the sexual contact. However, Viagra can be also used during the period between 30 minutes up to 4 hours before the sexual contact.

Action Mechanism

Viagra is a phosphodiesterase-5 ferment inhibitor. It blocks the work of these ferments and allows increasing the blood flow into the penis, thus increasing the erection during the sexual contact.
Still, in some cases the use of Viagra can cause a drop in blood pressure – when it is used together with any nitrate-combining pills, ointments or patches, such as Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, Nitrol, Transderm-Nitro, Nitrostat, Sorbitrate and others. If you use any of these drugs, the use of Viagra is not recommended.
